Patrol ( join if your scottish)

me and the remaining men in my platoon sit down next to a lake and begin chatting about what we're fighting for

we begin to drink a little but i dont have any

"well what are you here for"

Kaylee is resting near by on a part of grass
just looking up at the sky

a few hours later:

i get up and begin to patrol to check no ones coming its obvieous were an easy target when moast of the men are drunk me nd one of my best friends since we started fighting are the only ones being serious

we begin to patrol

"you there" he shouts as Dante looks around to chek its not a trap

Kaylee Sit up and looks over at Dante
but says nothing
and lies back down looking up at the sky once more

the man stops and puts his gun back on safety

"hello what are you doing out here"

i walk over

"hey....ummm nothing just resting..."
Kaylee said syill looking to the sky

i stand infront of her

"thanks for the help"

"johnson Go get some rest"

"hmmmm"
Kaylee looks at him as the light shines down onto him making dante glow as if he was an angel

"well were not goign any were till 8:00 hours"

i smile putting my gun in the grass

"so...what are you doing out here"

"emmm resting before the big day tomorrow"

"you meen the advance"

i might not be here after that

looks at the sky

"ever think of what could happen what might happen or what will happen"

"no...i just think of the now and prestent..."
Kaylee then sits up

"i geuss some people are different"

wonder if ill find my dad or die

"i geuss ill go gear up"

i begin to walk off

"oh yeah...incase i die tommorow...good luck"

"uh....."
Kaylee looks at him
"ok thanks..."

i begin to walk off

when i get to the camp i begin to clean my guns

Kaylee gets up and walks to the lake washing her hands in the water

waxes the barrel of the gun so the bullets slide out faster

Kaylee sits down next to the water looking over the water to see the other side
What she see's is a flashing of lights as if it were guyfox night
she heres a quiet whistle as the colors raise
she looks up as crusie patrol jets move quickly above them

and explosion blows up some of the tents

i run outside with one of my weapons i run into the lake up to my knees in water

i walk across pointing my gun in the direction the flashes came from

so far voff the gunshots aren't heard

begins shooting in the direction it came from the flashes stop all but one

kaylee looked at him crossing the lake

heads back calmly
