Band of brothers

me and my platoon finally get back from the assault only to find most of our friends were killed

especially in our regiment

the general gives me the dog tags and rifles of the men

i walk into the field near the base

i stab the rifle in the ground strap the dog tags to it and put the helmet on them
i have tears in my eyes

my men copy me

i go and collect more of their dogtags and helmets

after ive finished

i take a look to see who was killed

i salute them noticing that i only have 1 brother left and my father has died
ive also lost my best friends in this war

Sammy was sitting not too far away from the other but was sitting behind a tree

Reece walked over

"C'mon lets celebrate their lives"

Sammy sighed and sat there and then took out a red apple
she bit down hard onto it
"mmm..."

i walk over not looking happy as does shaun

shaun heads into the camp

i walk over to samy pushing reece out of the way

"listen dont sit their looking like some sort of brain dead fool i lost 5 guys in my squad searching for you and in the advance not including the ones i just made a memorial for.....Now Get up cause if you want to stay in my good books stop acting lie my little sister and go gear up"

i walk off

some germans come in on a truck Prisoners of war

i open up the van chuc a grenade in and wal away as it explodes

SAmmy was shocked
"....i never asked you too...."
Sammy said standing up as she said it just loud enough for him to hear
Sammy then turned away and got her guns together and tied the holder from them to my belt

"If your stupid fucking soldiers are should i say dead friends would've actually been not retarded then we wouldn't have had to have lost my men"


i take out my pistol and point it at sammy

"depromotion...sergeant"

"whatever....."
Sammy walked away and sat inside her tent
she sat for hours on end looking at a picture of her mother
tears fell onto the picture

stands on the hill with shaun next to the machine gun sandbag nest talking.
my men ae all tlking aswell

Sammy lays down on her mattress holding onto her picture
the silent tears dripp from sammy's skin to the mattress

we start laughing

Sammy picked up the pillow and smushed it over her ears
